About

I am a Boston-based illustrator and designer. Every day, I'm inspired by how art and storytelling can enrich our lives and make our world a better place.

I have always been fascinated by stories. When I wasn't writing and drawing as a child, I was inventing worlds in my backyard and telling my 2nd grade classmates that I was a witch. I grew up, but that magic-loving kid has stayed with me!

After graduating from Simmons College, I worked for seven years at FableVision Learning. As Captain of Creative Services, I oversaw graphic design, marketing, and product development.

In 2012, I began assisting NY Times best-selling author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds as his studio manager. He provided me with an invaluable education about the world of children's books, and he also inspired me to "make my mark." (Read Peter's book The Dot!) I decided to whole-heartedly pursue a career in illustration.

In Spring 2016, I collaborated with FableVision to create the book CHARLEY ELIOT and the Knights of the Woods, written by Paul A. Reynolds and illustrated by Peter. I had the honor of contributing my art to the endpapers of this wonderful book commemorating the 125th Anniversary of The Trustees, a non-profit dedicated to protecting public spaces of natural and historical value.

I am a member of SCBWI (The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), and I was the recipient of the Joshua D. Oppenheim Art Award.
