About

I am a Boston-based illustrator and freelance designer, providing art and design services for books, articles, marketing, and special events.

After earning my B.A. in Arts Administration from Simmons University, I worked for 7 years at FableVision Learning. As Captain of Creative Services, I oversaw graphic design, marketing, and product development for award-winning educational curriculum and technology products. I also developed strong skills in customer service and frequently gave presentations at conferences and events around the country.

I currently assist NY Times best-selling author and illustrator Peter H. Reynolds with his book projects. He provided me with an invaluable education about the world of children's books, and continues to inspire me to "make my mark." (Read Peter's book The Dot!) Working with Peter is always an adventure, and I’ve been blessed to help with many projects, including recent titles The Water Princess, Happy Dreamer, and The Word Collector.

I provide freelance services on a project by project basis for FableVision Studios, including work on the book CHARLEY ELIOT and the Knights of the Woods, written by Paul A. Reynolds and illustrated by Peter. In addition to designing the layout and coordinating print production, I also had the honor of contributing my art to the endpapers of this wonderful book.

I am a member of SCBWI (The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators), and I was the recipient of the Joshua D. Oppenheim Art Award.
